Just another night in the town!

Had dinner with Kev after work tonight! Initially we were intending to eat at an Indian restaurant called White Elephant. Buuuuuut, we both suddenly had a strong craving for sushi! So we ended up going to one of our favorite Japanese restos here in Calgary: Li Ao Sushi. (Yeah I'm defs advertising right now XP)

One of the main reasons we really love this place is because, out of all the Japanese restaurants we have been to (and we have been to a lot) here in cowtown, they have the best and by far the cheapest sashimi. So not only does it lead to a happy inner fat child for me but it also means less burden for our wallets!

It doesn't stop there! Service is great too! I have no complaints. The people who work there are very friendly. They definitely know what customer service is all about.

To top that all off we received a nice little gift appetizer...

Spicy Tuna Gyoza!


This item has yet to become part of their menu. In my opinion it would make a fine addition to the side dishes. The only funny thing was that I could have sworn it tasted like beef rather than fish. Kev said the same. n_n;;
